Pound Extends Drop Against Dollar; Falls to Least Since Jan. 25

The pound extended its decline against the dollar, falling to the lowest since Jan. 25.

Britain’s currency declined as much as 0.4 percent to $1.5578 and was at $1.5585 at 8:20 a.m. London time.

It was little changed at 79.94 pence per euro.
