The EUR/USD extended its gains early Europe up to 1.3121 before Central Banks took stage right before US opening: Kuroda, BOJ governor, stated the bank has done all needed and possible for now, triggering a yen acceleration that dragged euro lower across the board. Right after that, the FED decided to release latest meeting Minutes 5 hours earlier than scheduled, on news some of the information leaked yesterday. The EUR/USD fell to its daily low of 1.3051 and spent the rest of the day consolidating nearby, unable to regain the lost ground. The hourly chart shows a slightly negative tone a range persists overall; the short term ascendant trend line mentioned on previous updates still holds the downside, and 1.3050 comes as immediate support for the pair. In the 4 hours chart technical indicators corrected extreme overbought conditions, although are still far from signaling a bearish break. Range between 1.30/1.31 will likely rule Thursday, and only a clear break of any extreme will bring a clearer trend picture.

The EUR/JPY held to its range despite a 100 pips kneejerk with Kuroda, which reaffirms the strong buying interest still present in yen crosses. Technically, the hourly chart presents a flat stance with Asian opening as ranged persists over the last session. Key is more on USD/JPY today that nears big 100.00 figure: a break above that level should drag EUR/JPY higher still looking for an approach to the 132.00 area for this week.

The GBP/USD remains unchanged since last updated, ranging around the 1.5300 level, with no intentions to move anywhere according to the hourly chart that shows a 40 pips range around a flat 20 SMA while indicators stand in neutral territory. The lack of follow trough after early week high of 1.5360 discourages buyers, although seems they are not yet ready to give up. In the 4 hours chart readings are also neutral, with the short term range set between 1.5270 static support and 1.5360 weekly high.

USD/JPY took one more step on its way to 100.00, reaching 99.86 and standing nearby as the day starts. Selling orders and stops are reported around the level, although seems more likely a break higher and further gains that anything else. US indexes reaching record highs helped keep the pair bid, and despite the neutral stance seen on technical readings, the upside continues to be favored with key support now well below current price around 98.40.

AUD/USD advance extended up to 1.0550, with the pair finding buyers now around 1.0500. The hourly chart shows price steady above a bullish 20 SMA now around 1.0530 and immediate short term support, while indicators stand flat in positive territory reflecting the lack of action of the past American session. In the 4 hours chart technical readings stand in overbought levels and turning slightly lower also, yet with price stuck to its highs, so corrective downward movements will need further confirmation. Short term, a downside move may reach the 1.0470 area, although buying interest should surge back on slides.

Resistance levels: 1.0550 1.0585 1.0620
