USD-CHF @ 0.8915/18...Resistance at 0.8950
R: 0.8950 / 0.9000 / 0.9100
S: 0.8870-50 / 0.8800
Dollar-Swiss has risen further and is keeping up our bullish view intact. 21-DMA Resistance is currently at 0.8950 which could restrict the current upmove. A pull back to 0.8900-8850 is possible from this 21-DMA Resistance. However, the broader outlook remains bullish and a strong break above the 21-DMA (0.8950) would open doors for a test of 0.9100 on the upside. Having said this, dips to 0.8850 if seen can be considered for taking Long positions. But the question is whether we will see a sharp dip to 0.8850 or not?
GBP-USD @ 1.5931/34... Important Support at 1.5900
R: 1.6000 / 1.6050 / 1.6120
S: 1.5900 / 1.5800 / 1.5750
Cable fell breaking below its Support at 1.5970 towards its next significant Support at 1.5900 and is now bouncing back from its low of 1.5898. This 1.5900 is a very important Support level. A strong break/close below 1.5900 would increase the chances of further dip to 1.5800-5750 going forward. Also, even if 1.5900 holds, the pair needs to see a strong rise/close above 1.6000 now to ease the downside pressure. We will have to wait and see what happens.
We booked a profit of 67 pips from the Short position entered at 1.6047
AUD-USD @ 1.0311/14...Might dip further
R: 1.0400 / 1.0500
S: 1.0292 / 1.0253
Aussie has fallen breaking below the 200-DMA Support level. Support is seen near current levels at 1.0292 (55-Week-MA) and 1.0253 (55-DMA). While these Supports hold, there could be chances of seeing a bounce back to 1.0400 once again in the coming sessions. Failure to rise past 1.0400 will be bad for the pair as it would increase further the downside pressure and take it down towards 1.0200-0100 going forward. Overall the pair is expected to remain pressured on the downside while below 1.0400 and a test of 1.0200-0100 on the downside looks likely.
Happy Trading!
